This is my second time to do this yeast method but this time, nothing works! I suspect the curpit is the yeast being stored in the refrigerator. Did I kill the yeast already? Or do I have to bring the yeast up to room temperature to reactive the yeast?

I had used this method from DIY CO2 System for Planted Aquarium.

Is there better method to use than one above? If so, please post link and I will definitely check it out.

I just tried doing one of these set ups last night after hearing how well some tanks have done on these simple set ups. My yeast was never in the fridge, I didnt know that made a difference to be honest. I actually used a Arizona Iced Tea 1 gallon jug, its made out of a heavy plastic that doesnt flex or distort much if any and drilled a hole through its top and used a little lube (no not that kind!) and got the air tube into the hole, then flipped the cap over and sealed the tube into the cap with candle wax, it fills in all the little spaces that might be around the hose, then I put a little calk and threw in a cup of sugar, a teaspoon of yeast and teaspoon of baking soda, and went to bed. By the morning it was up and running just great.
I think the most common problem is pressure leaking out of the bottle, have you taken the steps to ensure its not that? have you left your setup for at least a full day?
