Hey I just made a CO2 system for my tank and I notice that I have like 5-15 bubbles every other second coming out of the tube. How can I control how much comes out? Did I put too much yeast or sugar?

And as for the ingredients, its only yeast and sugar right? :/

You cannot control the output. That's the bad thing about DIYCO2; it's not completely reliable. I believe you mix yeast, sugar and water (some people add baking soda).

Well ok you might think that I would be an idiot for doing this, but I took a 2L bottle and hooked it up to the air compressor at work, and found out that these bottles can hold up to 200PSI!!

So I was thinking last night.... I put a regulator at the top of mine to control how much flow was coming out. Well the bottle has some pressure built up, but nothing like what I did at work.

I will post a picture or 2 if you guys really want me to? Let me know

You put a regulator on a 2 liter bottle? :p Let's take a look, if it's not that much trouble.

Ok so it took me a while to get a picture on here. But the regulator I am using is that off of a airstone kit I bought at Wal-Mart. Here is the picture. I have had it going for about a week now and no popping of the bottle yet :D

Hope you all like it

Its great. Just make sure that the regulator at the top is well sealed. Mine has been working like this for a few weeks and conrolling bubbles 1 every 3 or 4 seconds :D
