Diy Co2 Sealant

So I just started my 10 gallon planted tank today and am going to install my DIY Co2 system tomorrow. I am just wondering what type of sealant / adhesive some people used to run the tube to the separation chamber.

when i did this i put a two small holes in the bottle cap, and used aquarium safe silicone on either side of the cap. pretty strong once dry, not to mention air tight

super glue or a hot glue gun will also work .
