Hello everyone and Happy Holidays!!
I was wondering if anyone on here has made a DIY bio-wheel before? I want to say that I read it on here (or maybe another forum) that someone turned a plain HOB filter to include a bio-wheel/spray bar. If I remember right, someone took the brackets & wheel and attached it to front of the filter where the water comes out. Does that make any sense? I was in a LFS the other day and saw replacement parts for a bio-wheel and had some extra filters laying around and thought that maybe I could do this. If anyone has any info on this or maybe a link to some site or something, that would be great. I was trying to search Hardware & DIY on here, but got impatient. Plus, googling DIY bio-wheel just pulls up a list of a bunch of forums & reviews on the bio-wheel filters.

ps. i thought of something after I typed this - is there any way of incorporating a diy spray bar for this filter to turn the wheel?
