hey all
i am thinking of using an empty 10 gal to house a few betta friends. i was wondering if any one had any suggestions for how to do this. do you need to have an opaque barrier so the bettas aren't constantly flaring, or are they okay with something clear? any and all advice is appreciated!!
thanks!

Well... you WANT them flaring. That's the idea. Clear barriers are probably your best bet. I'm not sure who puts it out, but a company makes betta condos (I keep mine in bowls so I don't bother with that). Try to to have too much current, most bettas don't like it.

How many do you plan to put in there? A ten gallon is a bit large. For best viewing you want something wide and slim. Wide from side to side so that they can swim around; slim from front to back so you can always see them.
