Ok thinking of dividing up one of my 3ft tanks.
What would be the best way of dividing it up.
Also how will i get filtration through to all diffrent sections
and what about heating?
Just one heater?

get a divider with holes or netting, it depend son what u want t keep at each side?

Go to the local hardware store and buy a piece of perspex (clear acrylic sheeting). This can be cut with a box cutter, hacksaw or any shape implement. Cut it to the correct size and then cut a big hole in the middle. Glue some shadecloth or plastic flyscreen over the hole. When it is dry you can fit the partition into the tank. The hole with shadecloth will allow the water to flow through the tank but stop the fish mixing.
Alternatively use a piece of glass and get a second heater and filter.

Well i was going to use the tank as a breeding tank.
Going to start breeding galaxy rasbora as well as other things ie endlers swordtails.
so holes in the divider will have to be small
thats my problem will each section get enough filtration and heat?

u might wanna just split it with plastic wi no holes, as g rasbora are pretty small, it depends if u can find a fine net, i have a divider which the heater goes through so half on one side and half on the other so both sides are heated a bit more evenly, but if the plastic is thin then u may not need a heater on both sides, u might wanna put a sponge filter on each side
