what do you guys use to divide yor betta tank i would like acheap easy solution fast i have a betta in a temp home that i dont like

preferably using stuff i can find at my house

my fishies thank you in advance

Umm...Possibly a sheet of stiff plastic and aquarium glue? It's what I used, though it is permanant....

Or you can go to your LFS and spend about $5 US for a divider...

That's all I can think of.

I used plastic canvas and aquarium sealant to divide my tank... the sealant can be found at most pet stores (or Walmart,) and the canvas can be found in craft stores (or Walmart :p )

 Do you just glue the plastic canvas to the side of the aquarium? I have noticed some use a binder of sorts to glue to the side of the tank but I cannot find them anywhere. I have looked in every store in this area and can't find them... at least not the ones I saw pictured.

I just use canvas - nothing else. Just a tad bigger than the width of the tank so that it fits snuggly and around the edges some paper binders from a stationary shop. No glue nothing. Works absolutely fine for me

The binder things are used incase you decide you want the dividers out sometime, they will slide out of the binders. Or if you wanted to slip something else in there sometime, a different color or whatever, it isn't so permanent.

I also think the binders give that extra bit of stability and rigidness....

perhaps someone could create a tutorial thread for this as ive seen alot of people ask this recently (and since ive been here :p )
