Dividers

I'm thinking of buying and 2.5 gallon tanks and diving it in half for my two bettas, however, I heard that the bettas might end up killing themselves by banging into the dividers if they see each.....Is this at all likely, should I worry and get a divider that they wouldn't be able to see through?

they likely wont do that, but it depends what material the divider is, you didnt give us much to work with...

sorry about that. I meant if the dividers were glass or plexiglass, anything hard like that.

I have a few with glas and plexiglass dividers and no problems here.
