Disinfecting My Tank

Hi All,

I think i may have picked up something in my tank.
Most of my fish have died or are missing nothing in residence to eat them), the dead fish show no signs of illness.
Can anyone tell me how to disinfect my tank so i can start again ?

Empty all the water and decor. Remove everything in the tank, including gravel/sand.

Mix bleach with warm water to a 1:20 bleach to water ratio. Clean the sides down with a damp cloth (of the solution) thoroughly. Then refill the tank with tap water scrub again without the bleach, empty that water. Then refill with water that will stay in the tank.

Did you test your water or anything prior to the deaths?

Agree with above. Just to add - clean the filter in the same way and cycle the filter with new media
