Going pretty well for me so far .... however I spent around 1month asking loads of questions and reading up on them. Get to know you discus dealer as they will help you out with water info etc

Joel your tank is stunning  whats the dimensions?what are the levels (ph)?tankmates?how loong has the tank been set up?

Hi Helsekia I love the colours of your fish joel. Mine hid for couple of days but are now greedy pigs and snatch food out of my fingers before i get chance to put it on sides of tank. they are about 4". Trying to fatten them up with beefheart and tetra prima 5x a day and doing 15-20% water changes every other day. Bit scared of them stunting as its a planted tank. what do you feed yours on? So pleased i chose discus, i`ve been considering them for years and reserching them but had lots of conflicting advice.
ph- 6.9-7
kh-4
gh-6
tank 48x 15x18 (love a bigger one though) 80% r/o- 20% treated tap water
and 2x nutrafin co2, My tap water is very hard so thes help keep my ph down
let us know more about your set up Angel

The tank is 5ft x 18inches wide x 24inches high

Ph 6.5 - 7.0 (raises at night due to no Co2)

At present I only have 3 Discus, two didnt make it but I have got another 4 coming in two weeks time. I have a group of 4 ansistrus and a big shoal of cardinals, 50+, but I may add more Lol

Also have a few sword tails in there that breeding pretty well. The fry dont even get eaten !!
