Fish Addict
Hi all...
I treated my discus (and the tank) with eSHa Hexamita as my Discus had gone dark, recluse and started to poo white.
I am glad to report, there has been no more white poo and there's the faintest of colour startin to come back into his fins. But he's still VERY dark in colour, wont swim with the others and hasnt eaten anything in about 2 weeks now.
When its feeding time, he does show initial interest, and sometimes will take a good nibble, but then just backs away again into a corner. Nothing is chasing him away and I put a good mix of dry and frozen food in, in 3 different hatches of the tank, to make sure theres food everywhere for all my fish.
Im stumped on this one, I dont know weather the treatment has worked or not, or weather to treat the tank again (if its safe to or not) because it just feels like im watching a fish die a slow and painfull death here.
Any ideas?
