ok im selling of my Co2 system and was wondering what to look out for when i shut it down?

i have 2wpg on a 75gal.. and i pump 1 bubble a second.. which im not sure if it s doing anything or not lol..


anyhow what should i keep my eye on and hopefull my fish will be ok..

if your that bothered cou could slowly decrease the rate and this will stop any problems with suddenly stopping.

are you selling it? if so are you in the uk? ;)
 
Just watch to see if your tank blow up!!!!

Just kidding. You may slowly start noticing that te overall appearance of the tank will be worse. I would agree to turn it off slowly and to get some flourish excel.

If you just turn it off the Ph of the water will shoot up and the carbonic acid keeps the ph down so its best to reduce the rate slowly.

Also if you are in the Uk in very much on the look out for a 2nd hand co2 unit.
