Whilst on holiday i got a text from my friend looking after the house to say that loads of fish have died because my filter had packed up!
I gave advice the best i could but apon my return my tank had turned really bad. Most of my fish had died including all my loaches, 5 inch clown loach my biggest loss. Basically they had let a slug of air in and the outlet had stopped pumping out thus suffocating my poor fish
Ive rectified the situation but now my tank has this white mist in it? I cant figure out what it is. Ive been brave (as i have very few fish left) and done two major water changes using my API tap water filter system but its still there!!!!
I only have about 10 guppies (little sods have bred like their life depended on it!) left and a couple of bottom dwellers, so im thinking of empting my tank completely and starting again. Obviously im worried this will kill my remainder fish, so im asking,
What the hell is this white mist thats pretty thick (you cant see the back of the tank!) Cheers!
