Disaster Strikes

I woke up this morning went to look at my tank and two of my fish were dead. 1 puffer and 1 albino died. I have no idea how either died. If it's a disease it's probably spreading throughout my whole tank. I don't have the slighest idea of what to do. PLEASE HELP!!!

Have you tested the water stats: ammonia. nitrites, nitrates, ph? What size is the tank? Is the filter working properly? What about the temperature, when heaters break they often turn the heat on full blast.

Are the dead fish showing any symptoms? Any spots, red streaks, tearing or rotting of the fins, bloating etc?
