Disappearing Eggs

my male doesnt appear to be eating eggs but there seem to be far less and hes stilll moving them around etc. do you think maybe only infertile or diseased eggs have been removed. shall i remove him or not? thanks for any help

Males will eat infertile eggs so they don't begin to fungus and infect the fertilized eggs, so this could be all that's going on. However, if the eggs are due to hatch now, personally I'd remove the male, as some will eat the eggs when they begin to wiggle during the hatching process.
