I have a real dilemma, I have to get rid of some of my fish but I don't know which ones as ideally I'd like to keep them all but can't.

The problem is 2 of my tanks are gone, one of them decided to crack along the bottom and the other started leaking, I'm assuming the seal has just gone a little bit as I can't see any obvious cracks, but I've literally had to bung all my fish in togther until I can get things sorted.

So here is my remaining 3 overstocked tanks(apart from the last one)

2ft tank(15 G) - 2 fancy goldfish, theirs is the tank that cracked, I'm running 3 filters on it at the moment and doing daily water changes, but they need moving fast.

3ft tank(30G) - 2 gold corys, 4 bronze corys, 1 panda cory, 7 otos, 3 frogs & 7 mountian minnows, again 3 filters, every other day water change. I know they all need different water temps etc but I had to stick them all togther because I had no other immediate options and it's only been a week.

4ft tank(66g) - 2 senegalus bichirs, 4 gouramis, 2 bn plecs, this tank is fine, bi weekly water changes as usual, only problem I'm having is the 2 plecs appear to be male and the dominant one chases the other ocassionally but the tank is large enough for them to avoid each other 99% of the time. The major problem is the bichirs, 1 male 1 female, the female has become very aggressive towards the male and goes through phases of chasing him and attacking him and it's not fair so ideally I need to re-home one of them, I'd prefer to keep the female.

I also have 2 empty 4ft tanks one is 40G the other 35G and I have a 5G hex but it's a death trap everything I've ever put in there has died so I don't use it. I also have one of those 4g plastic carrying tanks.

My problem apart from overstocking is the fact I have no space in my house, I was going to put the 2 spare 4ft tanks in the kitchen(they are on a double stand) as that would fix the problem with a bit of a change around but my husband has just recently had his book published so that area is now taken by a pallet full of his books. Plus the living room is very cramped with 3 tanks in it, we are in the process of selling our home but we have no idea how long that's going to be so I can't rely on the move creating more space for tanks as that could be months away.

My husband also doesn't want us to get rid of the bichirs but I've put my foot down, the male has to go, for his own sake, he must be miserbale being picked on most of the time. I can't get rid of the goldies because I love them and they were a gift from my husband so they have to stay. I also love all my corys, frogs & otos which makes it tuff, the only fish I wouldn't be devastated at losing are the gouramis, bn plecs & the minnows, although I'd worry alot about if they were being taken care of so I'm really trying to keep all of them.

I've thought about this alot and I was going to bung all the compatible ones(gouramis, corys, otos, frogs, plecs) in the 66g put the female bichir in the 40g and the goldies & minnows in the 35g(with extra filtration) and then I'd only have to get rid of the male bichir, problem again is the space factor, ideally I need to get rid of the 66g as it just overwhelms the room and makes it look smaller, which isn't a good selling point.

Any help, ideas, advice etc is more then welcome as I'm totally clueless as to what to do, seems like everything I think of there is a problem either with compatability, overstocking or space in the house. Before anyone says yes I should have considered all of this before i got them but I didn't forsee 2 tanks going within days of each other and my femal bichir turning nasty after being so gentle for months and I thought I had more time to sort it all out, I haven't now because of the overstocking due to the tanks leaking / cracking.
