Different Gibbi's

We recently took a Gibbi home that had been in our LFS for ages, because he's cute and we felt sorry for him!

He's brown with gold spots, but I've seen Gibbi's that are gold with brown spots. Is it just a colour variation or are there different types of Gibbi's?

If he's dark brown with creamish gold spots, he's more likely to be an L001, not a gibby. They're the same family though and nearly as common.

How's De Niro? Got any more piccies of him? He's a true Gibbi isn't he?

Would love to see some more pics of your little Royal too. Has he grown at all? Our's head seems to have got fatter rather than growing in length! And you were right, he's a poop monster from hell!

Pics? Who said pics? PMSL here you go:

De Niro recently. He's about 9"+ now. Not bad considering how stunted he was previously.

Our Royal (who still doesn't have a name, oddly) has grown a bit both length and widthways, but not significantly. They're really slow growing though (I think an inch a year is what most folks say).

Excuse crappy flash/tone, sometimes it works well, sometimes it massively exaggerates the tannins. De Niro and the Royal are usually inseparable, they eat together, sleep together, it's all very contradictory to what others warned us about regarding their temperament.

Wow! De Niro really has grown since the last pics! He's stunning! He looks enormous next to Poofish. That's so cute that he hangs out with the Royal. He looks like he's filled out a little too.

Love Ned Flounders too - great name! He's an albino bristlenose right? They are just so cute!

So Poofish is still unidentified? How strange, would have thought someone would know what he is. He's cute though. Lovely Plec collection.

But he's not cos he's an ancistrus LOL. He's just not a common bristlenose, so we don't know what species of ancistrus he is, although someone very knowledgeable thinks he may be ancistrus triradiatus.

Yep Bex - Ned is a gold bristlenose (that means he's yellow not fully pink like a full albino). And yes, De Niro's a fat sod.
