Hi,

I recently changed from feeding my fish just dried flake food to a mix of blanched vegetables.

Some of the platies are now excreting white feces. The reason I ask (perhaps I'm being paranoid ) is that I was reading about pests and the one sign to look out for is white feces. I see no parasitic worms.

Could this be caused by the change in diet?

my platies and swords have different color feces depending on what they eat. on their flake fed days they poo brown, on the brine shrimp, zucchini days they poo a pinkinsh white color. I hope this helps

Blood worms makes the poo quite thick and dark brown in colour, Are they acting out of character at all?
