so yesterday i bought a starfish that goes by the name "red sea star" and it is most likely not the "fromia milleporella" because the fromia has black dots on the it while the "red sea star" looks like it has a shell of scales or something. any ideas?
well after i brought it home, i acclimitized the starfish for about 20minutes which is terrible i just realized and placed it in the tank. it started moving afterwards so i thought it was fine.
there isnt really a problem but i researched that exposing the starfish in air too long or not acclimitizing it properly can lead to bacterial infections and it can die inside out...
is this true? and if it is, how do i prevent it or spot it if its happening???
need help!
thx
