I was picking my bike up from the bike shop, and I decided to stop at a garage sale. It looked like they had a lot of stuff, and I hoped that they had some kind of aquarium. And they did! A $45 price tag taped to what looked like a 30-ish gallon aquarium, which seemed like a lot for a garage sale. Upon further inspection, the price tag said $45 dollars for everything, which includes:
30ish gallon bow-front tank
matching stand
2 Aquaclear 50 filters (though they are the old 200 models)
150 watt submersible heater
A huge air pump with adjustable air flow + smaller pump
3 different sized nets (I think one is a pond net *shrug*)
A couple filter inserts (carbon + sponge) for the filters
a couple little decor things
And a bucket
Think I got a good deal? I tested all of the electrical equipment and they all work perfectly. I'm still messing with the heater to make sure that it's keeping the temp constant, but so far so good.
