Diatom xl filter bags

I’ve had a vortex diatom xl filter for years. I only use it to do an extra polish of my 55 gallon tank. Now for my problem, the filter bag has come apart and I am unable to find a replacement. No longer available, manufacture problem, etc.
has anyone been able find a replacement.

I haven't seen one of those in 30 years. They were all the rage in the 70's and 80's. How cool!!

I had a Vortex diatom filter back in the day too!
Every place I check says that it's discontinued - out of stock! So you may be beating a dead horse as the expression goes.
You might want to invest in the Marineland Magnum Polishing Internal Canister Filter. It's very reasonably priced and can be used many ways, including with DE.
