Well, if you have other cories, think about them. They might want a new friend.
We also lose friends in real life sometimes. But we discover new friends eventually and move on. I already got used to that after losing a friend who died long ago, but also after losing countless pets.

I've had 3 cats so far, and while I loved each one of them while I had them, if one hadn't died, I wouldn't have met the other. Although now having no cat, I really wish I were allowed to get another one. But it will just end up killed by FIV again, it's running rampant in this area, killing cats like crazy. -.-

I think I've gotten so used to seeing people and animals I've cared for die that if I were to live forever, it wouldn't be any different.
