hello peeps

I have now set up a new Malawi setup after taking all my other fish back to the LFS because they were incompatible. After finding a new not so local lfs i have over the last three weeks set up a new tank with mbuna Malawi's lots of slate and they are superb but i cant find any decent books on them that contain species and morph details. Is there any i can buy online?? I live in Essex in the UK.

Cheers everyone

:) Hi hollywood, I can't recommend any particular books but CLICK HERE for online info. You could go to Amazon for a look and see what they've got.
I use the Baench Aquarium Atlas range which include Rift Lake cichlids, an excellent, accurate and up to date set of books  Mac.

yes but they are fappin expensive down here £39.99 each. I brought their picture refernce book the other day which is good but i am trying to find one on just malawis other than the interpet and aquaguide ones which i already have...

Ad Konings series....

Malawi Cichlids in their natural habitat are GREAT BOOKS!!!!

I only have the third edition, but will be getting the first and second editions soon!!!

If you can only get one then I suggest you get the third edition.

It is a bit on the expensive side, but well worth the $$$

CM

I also recommend Ad's series....

Tanganyikan Cichlids in their natural habitat.....more great referrence books to own

ive just ordered a book by ad konings on lake malawi's published by tfh it is quite old but looks a great reference but at £65 is not cheap/. I also yesterday brought another smaller book by tfh author david boruchowitz "the guide to owning malawi cichlids" which is only £5.95 which is good for mbuna's
