has anyone seen or know how i can get a hold of a small species of eel for a 35 gallon tank in the east of england , i found one in my lfs and have been looking for one but when i asked about it they said they couldn't catch it as it buries itself and i therefore couldn't have it. Now i am more determined to get one than ever before

Any of the species in my profile are suitable, and so are peacock eels.

Thats the worst LFS excuse ive heard....

EDIT: Didnt answer the question. Not sure if these places are near you, but wildwoods, wharf (beware of prices), BAS, and most maidenhead qquatics will have one and if not could get one in.

really needs to be in the east of england but thanks

If it doesnt matter to you if you see it or not before buying, get them sent special delivery (tri-mar do it as do wildwoods but its twice the price, but they have more species being offered.) Otherwise try your LFS' and see if they can order them

Edit: Didn't work.

Go to PFK's website and select suffolk for a list of LFS in that area.
