I'm in Planted School.
I have only been dosing ferts and excel for a short time and all of my new plants are showing signs of deficiencies. I'm a little worried now. How long should it take for them to perk up? I am dry dosing...well dissolving the powders and dosing...instead of making a solution so far. I'm trying to figure out what te plants need and adjust before making stock solutions. The only problem is that I have almost the full range of deficiencies. Should I be waiting to see results or will the plants look better quickly. Also I bought magnesium but am under the impression that I shouldn't need it because my GH and KH are somewhat high.
The worse plant symptom are the stem plants leaves are going transparent or even waterlogged looking, before falling off. My ludwiga leaves are falling off so fast I'm surprised it's not a group of empty stems yet. Any idea what I need to do?
