what shall i do
theres a little goldie in pets @ home.al alone in a little tankbcoz he has one eye and his sclaes are missing and no1 wants him.i have a spare ten gallon,shali get him and heal him or not?

Poor thing might take a while to get him better, I would go for it if you have the time.

not one to burst the bubble here but what are you going to do with him when he has recovered?
little goldfish grow into monsters and he will need a 20+ gallon tank when he has grown. filtration will need to be strong and goldfish are harder to care for than tropicals.
But if you have thought all this through then add some aquarium salt to the tank to kill any disease and he should be ok. The scales falling off could be from poisoning from ammonia or nitrites.

i got him!he was so weak and floating around.afew days and lots of meds later he is doing great and is in my little 10gal recovering.When he is helathy he is going into my next door neigbours pond with al my other goldfish rescues!!!!!He looks great nd is swimming around fine with my little crob ornement for company!

he is gone I was so hapy to see him swiimming around with his little fishie friends and he 'paired up'with the other rescue and they were swimming around together!awww i know i did the right thing now im avoiding the pet shop incase theres another tat i see......
