decided to get a crab

tank has been running over 6 weeks, ( was established with gravel etc from another tank) its a 36 inch, inside has 12 neon tetras, 2 coloured widows, 4 guppies, 2 blue dwarf guramis, 2 catfish.

has a certian amount of live plants concentrated in one corner as i was hoping would give the guppy fry a chance to live.

also has a large fluval 4 plus filter so i think the crab would be able to sit ontop if he she can get up there.

any other steps i should take to make sure they can access land? ie can ya buy somin for them to climb up that sticks to tank glass?

I just want to make sure that you are aware that crab eat fish. yum yum

From what I`ve heard they arent the nicest of things to put in your aquarium. And cichlidaddict is right they do eat little fish

Don't do it! Mine ate 6 fish before i finally took him back!

well i got 1 female one male, there not large ones prob only an ich or so across, if they do become trouble then i will give them back to the lfs if they will have them.

im just wondering what to get for them ie caves etc etc

it could be harmful to ur catfish because crabs stay mostly at the bottom and so do catfish
