Dechlorinator?

not 2 be rude.. or anything? but how can you have Posts: 962 and not know the answer? est in marine?

LOL, I dont know! Because im just trying to make sure that im doing things right with my Marine tank. I of course been doing it while I had my freshwater but was wondering if there was any diffrence.

Oh yeah almost forgot, I was asking this question because I got R/O water and was wondering if theres any chlorine in there. I always used tap and it was obvious that they used chlorine to clean it out.

Even if there was chlorine and stuff in R/O, you would be using the dechlor before rather than after the water change. Fortunately, R/O does not need chlorine-removing conditioners. I also don't mean to be rude, but that info could've been found in less than 5 min on google or even more simply by asking the people you got the R/O from to begin with.

...I got my water a while back. This week will propably be my first water change so I was just making sure I didnt need to use any.
