Well i looked into my tank today and i saw my female shrimp's carcass. I am not sure if its moulted skin or her. ill tell you guys a decription to identify. Its in the curled shape like the shrimps you eat. It has its legs all scrunched together like when a spider dies. Its red stripe on her tail is still there. And it looks like there is mass in it (cant see the body that well). She is a full grown 2 inch female.

Yup sounds like a dead shrimp alright.

stick ya hand in and pick it up see if its a dead shrimp or shell.

its dead... Any reasons why it died? I'm thinking old age.

Could be a number of reasons, you havent really given us any info on the tank etc

Age... Stress... Mortal injuries... Could be a lot of things. Do you have other shrimp, and are they ok? What fish do you keep in your tank? Dude, what kind of shrimp even is it? :)

It was a female ghost shrimp. Ive had it for 3 weeks? She had 3 males also but they were killed when my dad cleaned the tank. None of my fish bothered her or tried to eat her. In fact some fish were afraid of her, especially my dojos.
