just found my otto dead!!!!! thinking of giving up on keeping them to be honest as they always kick the bucket!!!
Tank conditions r perfect ammonia and nitrite are zero and nitrate is 20 which is same as tapwater, ph is 6.5
So wot am i do wrong?
I started feeding the otto an algae wafer a couple times a week, didn't want to do it too much as i need him to munch the algae for me. He started getting really fat and healthy so i cut down the wafers so he had 1 every other night thinking i gave him to much. then last night i notice he was quiet than usual, then today dead!!!! on looking at his body was really thin and sucked in, this was very quick to happen.
Wot other type of algae eater could i get that stays small but that also stays alive longer? bearing in mind i have corydoras as bottom feeders and my tank is 24" by 14" by 18" high
R.I.P little fella
