in my tanks there is no structure of any kind they are just plain glass and i have been having problems with fish dying by the dozens. should i put some grass or rocks from my yard in there? also somebody told me you have to let the tank run for afew minutes before you put fish in it, is that true? tap water should be fine right?

I don't quite understand the first part of your post. However, tap water will not do. Tap water contains chlorine, which is fatal to fish. Try explaining your problem more clearly.

should i put plants and sand in there ? do they even need it? its kind of a hassle

3 gallon tank:
13 green spotted puffers
0-10 goldfish(they dont last long)

5 gallon tank:
9 oscars
24 mollies
4 catfish

:hyper:

Yes, i replied in the other thread that it is grossly overstocked. Fishes arent fine if they live for a few DAYS, the should live a few YEARS. :sly:

What does site advisor mean? It's a pretty recent title, huh. I haven't seen it before... And do you know why TTF was down a few days ago?

Cheers,

TROLL!

and PT i hope you asked if you could use that title? If not i suggest changing it something less formal sounding as it appears to be confusing the members.
