I have just found 1 of my corys dead in their new tank
the tank was cycled (fishless) nitrite is 0 all other tests are fine.
this poor fish has already survived a nitrite spike in my old tank when my filter packed up and he was very special to me
the thing is since theyve been in the new tank i havent really seen any of my corys theres so many hiding places, the back is a wall of slate and ive now got a sand substrate which i thought theyd love, but they could all be dead as far as i know
could it be stress you think from the move?
40 gallon tank
5 cories (now 4)
1 blood parrot fish
3 silver dollars
1 clown plec
5 guppies

None of the other fish were affected, the water was fine - they just got so stressed out by the move. I'm sure the others are fine - just give them some time to get used to their new surroundings. My fish wouldn't even look at me for a few weeks after their move, and even now one of them hasn't forgiven me - he disappears as soon as he sees me.
