Dead Bettas =(

After bidding on my fishes two weeks ago. I finally got them mailed to me on Monday and got them today. The sad thing is I opened the box to see three dead fish. =( They were pretty fish...it just looks like they ran out of oxygen. They were in little juice bottles, Id say about 8 oz. =(

Just a suggestion, before you purchase/bid on the fish, make sure the seller packs them properly. Also, you may want to review their feedback from previous buyers just to be on the safe side.

who did you buy the fish from? was it on aquabid?

It was on Aquabid. I emailed him and am getting three bettas send to me. He said I was the first one that received fish DOA. Oh well... I guess there is a first for everyone. Its okay. If the fish end up dead again, Im going to ask for a refund on the money. This weekend I am picking up a Giant Plakat. =) I cant wait. Those things are huge!

Well I just checked his feedback on aquabid and it's 100% good... with a 22 rating

huge bummer. Poor little bettas, that must've been a not-too-fun death. I hope he packs them properly this time! I just got 5 Bettas today, thankfully all in perfect condition except for some narsty water. I REALLY hope your next batch arrives healthy!

For future reference, I don't trust U_got_betta ... he's just, wierd. He re-uses the same pic all the time, and this quote that he puts on all of his "half Giant" auctions tells me that he doesn't know much about Giants ~ "this makes these two a 50% Giant, which means the MALE should grow to about 2.5-2.75 inches"

I emailed him about that and he said he has been keeping Giant PK for a long time and knows what he is talkign about. So I dunno whether to believe him and know that he is totally lying. I took pictures of my poor dead fish, which they looked awesome ( They would look 100 times cooler if they were swimming ), so he is sending me three new ones that are supposed to be identical to the ones I got. He said he has already set them aside for me so he doesn't accidently sell one and will be shipping them out right after Hurricane Rita passes them.
