I got home last night and noticed our male mickey mouse platy had ich. now my fiancee added him last week after specific orders not to get any new fish. I moved my betta nad whiptail form the hex into the community (nervously mind you) andquarantined the platy and have began ich treatment for him, also added some salt to the water. I will gave the community tank a single does of ridich to kill any free flaoters and will monitor the tank closely for a few days. Jane (my fiance) will finaly listen to me and never add a fish to my tank again. our 3 year anniversery is coming up june 4th and i found a great deal on a 29. $109 USD with everything, tank, flo hood, light, power filter, net, decorations (will get changed, but hey) brand new at the petsmart by my job. now she can have her swords, platties and mollies in there and even give them the brackish water that they like. and I can have my semi-agressive tank. thinking about:

2 angels, 2 firemouths, 1 albino shark (already have him), 1 red tail shark (maybe), 2 green severums. I plan on getting them all as babies so they grow together. all full grown it is pushing the overstocking limit of a 55, but that tank will be very well planted and have good filtration.

consider her spanked les

jam,

I already have a 5 gallon hex I use for quarantine. the 29 will be jsut for her fish, so my community tank will no longer be community but semi aggressive

ive decided my 24"x12"x18" tank will be my new quarrantine tank does anyone know what the addy of that aquarium calculator is?

it said 23 gal but i allways thaught it was 25 well anyways with the inside measurements and the gravel and stuff ill say its a 20 gal i can keep new fish in there for quite a while before moving them on to the big tank normally a couple of weeks is more than enough to decide if they are diseased i find.
