Dark Spots On My Clowns

I have six clown loaches in my tank, they seem fine, but the two biggest ones (4 inches) have developed large black and brown bloches and freckles on top of their faces up to the front of the dorsal fin. They seem happy and are well fed. Anyone seen this before? On one the color is almost washing to black, but not the stripe color, black all over the face.

Mine have done the same and from what Ive read online this is normal. Can anyone confirm that?

yes I think that it's normal if your fishes are still active and acting normal. I don't think you should worry about....
