Dark patches on the side of mouth

Hey everyone my puffer has a dark patch on each side of his mouth right now. I think there might be some kind of fungus growing on him but I am not sure. I dont know what to make of these dark patches on his skin. They are only on the side of his mouth but he is still very active and is eating good. He sometimes scratches the spots on things in the tank. Anyone heard of this before? How should i treat it. Ive raised the temp and added some salt

Could be common black spot disease, Copper or Trichlorofon based medications will treat it.
