I have 4 Dario dario, scarlett dario, reserved in store. What kind of fishes are these? I have no idea, but I had to take them. This is first time I see them in Finland. Great looking tiny fishes.

Which tank should I put them.

1. 24 gal, pH 6.6, kH 2, gH 2, NO2 0, NO3 0, 80F, no current
Fishes: tiny rasboras (Boraras urophthalmoides and B. brigittae), dwarf croaking gouramys, kuhli loaches and amano shrimps

2. 20 gal, pH 7, kH 3, gH 5, NO2 0, NO3 2, 75F
Fishes: borellii's cichlid pair (very peaceful), bristlenose, 2 gastromyzon ? loaches, lots of different kind of shrimps

3. 24 gal, pH 7, kH 5, gH 7, NO2 0, NO3 20, 78F
Fishes: Now I have silvertipped tetras, panda corys and betta in there, but it's possibility that I only leave panda corys to here and get rid of everything else

Any information about this species is welcomed. I have searched whole net, but there is quite little information about these.

Try searching for Badis badis instead, i belive you could have the red badis, quite a rare fish in the hobby and a bit of an enigma! but i know that it will stay a small size and it is possible to breed them as i remember reading an article about it somewhere!!
And i have to say if they are your tanks in those pictures, i am very very jealous, they are gorgeous how do you get your plants to grow so well?

Darios are closely related to badis species , and grow to smaller sizes , and seem to reach 1" or under , Have you tried searching Scarlet badis [ as Aloaring sugg.] They stay small and this can pose a problem feeding them esp in a new set up . I think "Tearscar"another member here , may keep these fish , or scarlet badis , I think they are the same fish  .A nandid and ,an oddball
