how can you tell if a danio is carrying eggs?
I have two zebra's atm, and one of em is extremely huge around the belly.
I noticed awhile back she was getting bigger, but then she seemed to slim out a bit, now shes huge again.
It doesnt look like a bacterial, parasite problem.

Now.
If she is carrying eggs, how do I go about saving the eggs when she releases them?
Can i put her and the male in a breeder before she releases them?
Or do I have to wait?
I have no idea!

Some help would be greatly appreciated.

it is hard to tell when a female is carrying eggs
as sometimes they do gourge themselves and
appear to be huge from that.

If she gourged herslef then she needs a time out!
