I got 6 long fin zebra danios and the same number of harlequin rasboras the other day. The rasboras are shoaling around the middle of the tank but the danios are not shoaling and seem to like cruising around the bottom of the tank near the sand or the middle of the tank. Aren't danios supposed to be top dwellers? (not that I mind)

if there new there probably just settling in, my White cloud minnows hung around the bottom when i added them for a few days now there mid/top where there supposed to be

Danios chasing each other all over the bottom of the tank is danios breeding. They are egg scatterers. The leaders are the females scattering their eggs into the gravel and the chasers are the males fertilizing. We never seem to see the fry in a typical tank because they all get eaten but that is a typical danio breeding.
