Last weekend LFS tested water and all was zero

tank temp: 27 degrees

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):
The last few days my danio has been struggling to swim and seems to have like an internal growth thats giving him a humpback appearance. On one side he seems to have gone a reddish colour like he's had an injury. This is where his stripes are misshapen.

Volume and Frequency of water changes: Weekly. 50%

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: sand substrate

Tank inhabitants:
1 common plec and 2 harlequins

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): 5 baby shrimp with 2 small plants that came with them. Got these 2 weeks ago and 2 died last week.

Exposure to chemicals:
NOne

I have taken pics but when i click 'attach files' nothing happens..

How old is the danio as the spine can bend in old age.

It's rare to have a nitrate reading unless your tap nitrate reading is 0, and you have live plants.

I would take a sample of your water to the lfs and ask them to write the readings down for you.
I would also strongly suggest you invest in some liquid test kits or your own.

Red patches can be bad water quality, parasites, to septicemia.
The red does it look like bleeding beneath the skin.
When you say growth do you mean a tumour that is hard beneath the skin.

Does the fish look skinny or bloated.
What does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet.
Is the anus enlarged or red and inflamed.

How many gallons or lites is the tank.

55l should not be used to house a common pleco, remove the pleco asap, then see if the sypmtoms of the Danio change.

The red patches look like a 'graze' to its scale.
I gues it could look like bleeding beneath the skin.

Fish doesnt look bloated apart from the bit where its like there's a internal growth making it 'fat'.
Anus is not large or inflamed.

Fish been lying on its side this afternoon - I think its going to be an angel soon :-(

All you can do is issolate the sick fish and try a bacterial med.

Ok.
Let us all know how he gets on bless him.
Good Luck.
