Danio appears to have a bent spine, and sort of rocks back and forth when swimming??

Treated with esha2000 some time ago, like LFS advised.... But today found a blue moon platy dead. Any thoughts??

(wheres wilder when you need her....lol)

Whar type of danio is it.
You can't mend a bent spine.
If the fish looks in pain I would end its misery.
For some reason danio some types fish tb.
But it hard to say if it was every fish tb, I would rather look into internal parasites.
Is the fish also thin looking.
Internal parasite signs are.
bent spine.
Being thin or bloated.
Red inflamed anus, or enlarged anus.
Long stingy white poo.

Look under tb.

Do a search on danio's and tb it fetches quite alot of sites up.

Taken from the link above.
When a zebra danio is nearing the end of its typically two year lifespan, there will be a moderate to severe curvature of the spine. This is occasionally confused with fish tuberculosis, a disease that can be passed on to humans. If your fish are young and exhibit this particular trait, then you should take the highest precaution in diagnosing the cause. Remember though that stress will often be responsible for the reduction of the life of a fish, and that a zebra danio that experienced a high level of stress as an immature fish may have its life expectance reduced to no more than nine months. Zebra danios are not prone to any particular disease, and because of their active nature they are seldom affected by ich, due to the fact that they will brush off the fungus in their everyday activity of passing by stones or plants in your tank. One thing to look out for is gill flukes. If you spot your zebra danios rubbing themselves along the substrate of your tank, then you will probably need to medicate the tank with an anti parasitic medication.

Kind of thin compared to the others, doesnt look in pain tis feeding and shoaling with others as normal.

A Zerba danio, esha was to treat possible dropsy or the shimmies. Ive jus noticed one of the other danios with protruding fins and red areas underneath its body... and a little bloated.

What would you recommend in the way of Meds??? (another dose of Esha2000 prehaps)

Folded fins
Eye protrusion
Dark coloration and granular appearance of the cornea (this is the first sign in Angelfish).
Skeletal deformity
Hanging at the surface

Thanks for the help once again!

You can never say for sure it tb.
But if you have cuts on your hands wear gloves when having to do anything in the tank.
Its rare for human to catch tb from fish, you have to be exposed to tb a long time.
Usually when a human immune sysem is weak that you can catch fish tb.

You could contact a vet to see if he would proscribe some antibiotics like tetracyline or minocycline it will wipe the beneifical bacreria out in the filer, but it wants wiping out anyway.

to be honest, ive been studying the infected fish today.... and i think it may not be a bend spine.... more of just that the fish is that bloated, red streaks appearing underneath it.

Whist the other looks thin and its tail drops went swimming!? hard to determine whether tis tb or not!?

A fish tail can droop with being bloated and yes it dosn't mean its tb.
If the fish are skinny can also be internal parasites, they can cause bacterial infections on top.
