This pair of golden sailfin mollies (Poecilia sphenops) have been together since they were young juveniles. It is a true love story.

They’re really going to town there ! I like the little nuptial dances that all fish do but livebearers do it best .

This pair of golden sailfin mollies (Poecilia sphenops)

They're not Poecilia sphenops but breeding forms of sailfin (and for sure with such a well developed dorsal as this male) mollies as such are the result of crossing between Poecilia velifera and Poecilia latipinna. Poecilia sphenops strains have short dorsals and are more slender in body shape.

Oh yes, I love to watch those fish do the dance of love...
