I bought a new coral yesterday a fungia and I started fiddling around with where my corals are placed with a view to the future and fitting more in

I moved a toadstool, zoa, riccordea , kenya tree, yellow polyp and green star polyp along with torch and trumpet. I did not move or drop any rock

For some reason when it was all done I put the lid down and saw the damsel still alive floatting in the flow upside down etc, about 5 mins later checked and it was dead

I hadn;t washed up or put any afetrshave on hands or anything so not sure if a coral released a toxin and killed it

any ideas?

Was it very stressed?

The toadstool may have started chemical warfare against the LPS when you started to move everything around - you are running carbon arent you?

no Seffie getting the carbon later on today

I didn;t think it was going to be particularly stressed and its my oldest fish as well . no indication of illness either
