I woke up this morning to find my molly tank to look like a warzone, no signs yesterday of anything......... 4 dead, 2 barely moving and one that doesn't look so bad. Raised all of these fish from fry over the last year........ devastating.

I checked my 40 gallon and one of my angelfish has "cotton mouth" aka Flexibacter, I've been treating with Fungus Eliminator by Jungle Labs which is the only thing I can get my hands on to treat my tanks. I fear the worst....... I hope this medicine starts working soon, it contains nitrofurazone which apparently should kill off this bacteria and many others........

This is an awful diease, it struck over night and killed my mollies that were FINE last night, theres was NO signs.......

Very sad =\

Sorry, I no the damage it can do, it can kill fish in hours, good luck hope no more die, do salt baths the desease hates salt, if you have no scaless fish add some salt to the tank as well.

And treat for at least 8-10 days. It might look like it's cleared up after 3 or 4 days but if you stop treating chances are it will come right back!

I once lost more then half my fish in my 65g when i got hit by a terrible round of flexibacter. It's one deadly disease, worst part is it showed no symptoms before it happened.

P.T.

I once had a large ammount of fish that I bred die on me, I had about 20 bettas and then they all died of a dropsey epidemic along with one third of my fish.
