hi all
I'm having trouble finding any info on a dakar cory c.dakarii
anyone know anything about this one?

I have not heard of a cory by that name. Do you have ay pictures? Do you know if it goes by another name?

I found some references to an M Dakar. I believe it may be a person. But I couldn't find specifics. There is also Dakar, is it in India?

So we wait for Inchworm at this point, I suppose.

Doesn't exist as far as any of the catfish sites are concerned so it's either very new, a bad misspelling or a made up name.

Hi The-Wolf :)

Sorry, but I've never run into that name before. I checked my reference books too, but didn't find it or anything that looked similar.

Thanks for the name to contact inchy (via pm)
I will keep you all informed on this.
oh apparently they are white with black stipes running horizontal along the body.

Hi. The fish is probably C. sp. deckeri (C003), a fish that resembles C. axelrodi, but with an extended dorsal fin. They are seen regularly on exporters lists and have been captive spawned, frequently. - Frank

I ordered them and they arrived yesterday.
from the pics in aqualogs all C numbers they certainly do look like C003.
after they have settled I think I'll be bringing some home :)

Very nice. Those C003 look very similiar to C. axelrodi.

Please post some pictures when they get settled in :good:

EDIT: I have seen a couple of different pictures and some look like C. axelrodi and some dont. Im interested to see what the ones you have look like.
