D-ionised water

I work at a print factory and one of my suppliers sell D-ionised water in sealed 20 ltr drums.
Could I use this for top up and water changes instead of R/O water?
Being able to purchase this would be ideal as I wouldnt have to make the weekly visit to my LFS just for water.
Is there a significant difference between the two?

RO and distilled water are different. RO does have some trace elements where Distilled does not.
