Hi my orca tl450 has been cycling for roughly 2 weeks now and now it is covered in diatoms, and im getting the water tested today.

if the parameters are good, should i get my cuc whilst im at the shop? and if i do, should i leave the diatoms for them to eat?

i am planning on a shrimp, 2 hermits and 1 nass/turbo

is this ok?

Not sure on shrimp I would most prob gor for

2 Dwarf blue legs if they have them
1 Turbo
2-3 Nass as these are generaly quite small

These should clear your Algae up

Snails and crabs tend to need a while to acclimatise I drip acclimitised mine for 90 mins also add shells for your hermits just incase they fancy bigger shells

Hehe nope no issue with shrimp apart from I would wait until you add a little CUC give them a week then add shrimp
