i am cycling my tank and i have been reading-up about cycling a tank.I am wondering that how do you get the ammonia in the water some people i'v talk to say to put very hardy fish in that will survive the whole cycling process (e.g tiger barbs) and they say they are inexpensive, so should i put fish in my tank even though its just started cycling (2 days approx and its still cloudy) so would it be a good idea to put fish in or not? and if so could you give me some suggestions

:fish: Simply add a small pinch of fish food to the tank about evry other day, this breaks down to produce the ammonia. It's cruel to use any fish to cycle your tank as the toxins will cause them stress and harm
