Hi Guys,

I promise I'll stop bugging you all soon but I've got a couple of Q's

Should the skimmer be on whilst I am cycling the tank

Should I worry about salt being removed from the water when it passes through my canister filter containing activated carbon, Bio Max, filter wool, Phosphate remover etc

I would get the skimmer going asap

Salt wont be removed from your water by the means you stated above
