Cycling How Long Till Testing ?

I am cycling my tank, it has all the bog wood and such that will be in it so how long till I can test the ph and stuff?

u can test when ever you want, just sometimes there really no point. like the first day for instance. even though i did, because i....

Yeah I'm cycling my new 30 gal right now, a week and a day into it. My nitrite is starting to move up finally, but i can barely tell a drop in my ammonia, I think i may have added a tad bit too much.

I've been testing my ammonia and nitrite every day, sometimes twice I day, so I know also how you guys feel! I'm gonna move the fish from my current 30 gal. into the new one (the new one is taller and will accomodate my Angels better) , then get a 55 gal to replace the old 30 gal, so I'm really axnious for this cycling to be done.

just tested mine, Amonia 0
Nitrites 5.0+

Cycling of course
